FAQ: How many missions are there in California?

There are a total of  21 missions in California's Historic Mission

All of these missions are on a path, which they call a trail.  All are located on or near Highway 101, which roughly traces El Camino Real named in honor of the Spanish monarchy which financed the expeditions into California in the quest for empire.

Destinations: Mission Santa Clara, California

This dates back to the 1700’s and from a historical point of view it has value.

This mission is the 8th mission in the chain of 21 Franciscan missions established by Padre Junipero Serra. It was first founded on January 12, 1777 on the banks of the Guadalupe River and was the first to be named by a woman.

Flood fire and earthquake forced five relocations utul this site was selected in 1822.

When Mexico seceded from the Spanish empire, the mission fell into decay.

In 1851, they planned to turn it into a college, which is what we know today.

"Located on the Guadeloupe River, the log chapel was founded in 1777 by Father Serra in honor of St. Clare only three months before his death.Located about 40 miles south of San Francisco, the main garden is devoted to tree roses, a mission tradition, and the string of willows planted along the miles between the mission and the pueblo of San Jose is today a well-traveled San Jose street known as The Alameda. Some initial mission walls exist and the bell tower holds the original bells sent from Spain. "

Today’s Mistake- Purchasing a slip in Italy was a misunderstanding

A friend tried to shop in Italy and was hoping to purchase a slip. Instead, the people who she spoke to gave her underpants.  Don’t use the word, “slip” in Italy or people will think you mean underpants. @rambling unicorn

One way to test it out is to try it early in the morning, before rush-hour workers arrive, but while it’s still light outside.  Most of the time, you only need a card to swipe, and you can add money to the card when you need to. Your first care purchase is often at a self-service kiosk, and usually there is English translations here. Go for it and try.   Episode: Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan This scenic region reminded me of Lake Tahoe, California.  If you are coming you will Arrive in Taoyuan airport and take the train to the Taipei Main Station and take the HSR t...
